Creative Dramatics (Ages 4-6)
Harnessing our imaginations and creativity is what this class is all about! Our young actors will dive into immersive storytelling this session. CREATIVE DRAMA is a process-based form of theatrical training that focuses on bringing characters to life, improvisation, and most importantly…fun! Puppetry, acting, and theatre games are all rolled into this class to make
it a great place to begin for all students.
This is a 45-minute class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $125.

Junior Conservatory (Ages 7-9)
This Fall we have two learning opportunities for our Junior students! Both classes will be exploring our Fall Faithful Fable of “The Miller and his Donkey”.
This Fall our Homeschool Juniors will practice core theatrical skills in vocal production, character development, and character movement. We will continue our exploration through the faith-filled fables with a new Aesop’s fable this season. Theatre games, speech skills, and beginner acting techniques will be learned as we bring to life a story that holds Biblical truths in a fable format!
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $125.

This Fall our 7 – 8 year olds will practice core theatrical skills in vocal production, character development, and character movement. Theatre games, speech skills, and beginner acting techniques will be learned as we bring to life a stor that holds Biblical truths in a fable format!
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $125.

Young Conservatory (10-14 years)
We have three options for our tweens and young teens this fall!
This class is all about strengthening comedic timing, confidence on stage, and imaginations with our Theatre Games and Improvisational Acting class. Students will get the benefit of a truly process-based class that connect strongly to character development, analysis, and speech work. This class will be a fun introduction to theatre for new students and a great refresher for returning students that will leave the whole group laughing!
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $125.

In this class, our Homeschool students will be diving into acting an original ENOPION Mini-Musical version of “The Good Samaritan”.
This script with songs is a low-stress introduction to musical theatre that tells of God’s love for us. Students will learn about acting the song, learn singing techniques, and see how acting and music work together to tell a story on stage. No singing experience required! There will be no dancing, but some “movement” will be integrated into our songs so that our middle schoolers feel confident on stage.
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 12 weeks. Tuition is $145.
Thursday, August 13th-November 5th
1:00- 2:00pm for ages 11-14

We will learn theatre games, speech skills, and beginner acting techniques as we bring to life a story that holds Biblical truths in a fable format with puppets! And we will be making our own hand puppets with recyclables!
This class will end in a joint-demonstration with our high school puppeteers on November 2nd where both classes will present a night of puppetry at 6:00 p.m.

Teen Conservatory (14-18 years):
Our teens will dive into their first technical theatre class this fall: Storytelling Through Puppetry! In this course students will experience a full theatrical production cycle from making complex shadow puppets, creating a set and scenery, casting a play, recording a script, rehearsing a play and performance before a live audience!
Please note: The ability to use hot glue, scissors, and other craft tools is required for this course.
Our Teen puppeteers will explore two tales of Christian heroes from the medieval times: George de Lyddia and Martin de Tours. Both were remarkable men of the past that held strong in their faith in Christ when faced with adversity. Told through light and shadow, these stories will uplift our teens as they explore how the struggles of people of the past can relate to their own lives today.
This class will culminate in a night of puppetry, partnering with our Junior Puppeteer class on November 2nd at 6:00 p.m.!
This is a 1-hour & 15 minutes class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $130.

Our Homeschool Teen class will be an Introduction to Acting Course. For the home-school student that wants a theory-based approach to acting that will include theatre games, scene study, and a whole lot of fun! This course can be used for high school transcript credit and is worth .5 credits each semester.
This is a 1-hour & 30 minutes class that meets once a week for 12 weeks. Tuition is $205.

Adult Conservatory: IMPROVISATION
Improvisational Acting for Character Development is designed to help you think about character development in a different way. Drawing on acting techniques derived from Spolin, Checkov, and Meisner, this course will be sure to give both beginner and seasoned actors new techniques to harness when creating a character for performance. We will use Old Testament Biblical accounts within our course to guide our work. This short course is not to be missed!
Class will meet once a week for 4 weeks. Tuition is $60.

Teen Conservatory (15-19 years): Improvisational Acting 1
Our 10-week Improvisational Acting class is a first for ENOPION! In this course students will focus on both short and long-form improvisation to enhance their quick-thinking, teamwork, active listening, and communication skills. Your teen will not want to miss this laugh-out-loud class as we practice character creation, prop-work, and impromptu scene creation. This class is a great way to practice flexibility of thought while having so much fun!
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 12 weeks. Tuition is $145.

Young Conservatory (10-14 years): Monologue Mayhem
Our tween actors will focus on monologues this winter telling the dramatic accounts of the life of Jesus. Monologue work gives students the opportunity to craft a character from beginning to end, hone speech skills, memory skills, while boosting their self-confidence. Enrolled students will also learn audition skills, as students participating in this course will be given the opportunity to audition for multiple child-speaking roles in our Main Stage production of The Witnesses in March and April.
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 12 weeks. Tuition is $145.

Junior Conservatory
This winter, our 7-9 year old actors will practice core theatre skills in vocal production, character development, and character movement. Students will build listening, focus, and pantomime skills through theatre games that will be sure to leave your student smiling before you can say “Bibbity Bibbity Bop!” We will continue our exploration through the faith-filled fables with a new Aesop’s fable this session: The Trustworthy Woodcutter. Our children will explore how the fables of Aesop’s teach us God’s truths and how we can learn something about our Creator’s love from even the silliest of the tales!
This is a 1-hour class that meets once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $125.

Creative Dramatics
Filled with storytelling, play-based theatrical games, and a whole lot of fun, our CREATIVE DRAMA class will introduce our youngest actors to the joys of theatre performances. This process-focused class introduces theatre concepts such as character development, vocal production, and acting in a gentle way without the pressure of performance. Students will learn seasonal folk tales that hold rich, Christian values such as the power of prayer and generosity. We will spend each week peeling back the layers of the story with crafts, movement, and a whole lot of theatrical fun!

Adult Conservatory: Acting the Monologue
Monologues are a core component of plays, films, and auditions, but can sometimes be overwhelming! This 10-week course, crafted for the adult actor, will focus on creating a fully-realized character within the span of a 3-5 minute monologue. Character development techniques will come from the Stanislavsky tradition of actor preparation as we break down beats, goals and objectives, given circumstances, and understand our character’s plot-line throughout the course of the monologue. Actors will complete the course with a well-crafted monologue that they can use for auditions or mono-dramatist performances. All experience levels will get something out of this 10-week course!
Class will meet once a week for 10 weeks. Tuition is $150.

Teen Scene Study
Our Teen SCENE STUDY class will dive into the Christian’s journey through the storyline of The Pilgrim’s Progress, deeply exploring how to establish a well-rounded character that is very different from the actor. Students will learn acting theories from key theorists such as Chekhov and Stanislavsky and will work on character development through solo and group acting exercises. Student will apply their new acting skills weekly in class and will showcase what we’ve learned at the end of the session to family and friends!
Class will meet once a week for 12 weeks. Tuition is $145.

Actors Tool Kit
Our ‘tween and early teen actors will dive into THE ACTOR’S TOOL KIT: MOVEMENT AND PANTOMIME class this Fall exploring the Biblical account of Jonah. Jonah’s tale is filled with drama, intrigue and deep emotions that resonate with the pre-teen frame of mind. We will learn how movement and body language directly affect the audience’s perception of our characters and how we can use these actor’s tools to craft a story that brings God the glory! Black-light may be used within the final performance for this course, please let us know in advance if your child is light sensitive!

Mask and Pantomime
In this process-focused course, students will learn fundamental physical theatre skills and terminology, to bring the story of Noah to life through specialized movement techniques. This course will explore acting theories such as Viewpoints, Stages of Tension, and beginner physical theatre techniques. Through mask work and pantomime, students will learn how to create and work with masks and see just how powerful this medium is in telling stories that honor God!
Class will meet once a week for 15 weeks. Tuition is $175.

Meet The Teacher
Ms. Corinna is thrilled to begin her 15th year as a theatre teacher serving at Flowing Wells Theatre! Holding a BFA in Performing Arts, an MA in Educational Theatre from New York University and an MA in Waldorf Education, she also holds a teaching credential in Waldorf Education and English/Language Arts and Theatre. Currently a doctoral candidate with Antioch University, she is exploring making arts-based pedagogies accessible to all educators through her doctoral research. Corinna cannot wait to be a part of your child’s journey to become a more confident, collaborative, and creative storyteller through process and performance-based classes at Flowing Wells. Her “niche” is Creative Dramatics courses where students immersively experience story while learning theatrical skills that will build their confidence and help them shine.
